Eric and Moriah Tregoning started their photography business as a side project in 2008. In January 2010, they officially launched Eric & Moriah Photography, a Colorado wedding photography company, after joining Professional Photographers of America.
Eric & Moriah Photography specializes in wedding photography. Each package includes a full day shoot to capture every moment of the couple’s special day. Eric and Moriah expanded their business recently by hiring an intern photographer and redesigning the business’s logo and website.
Eric and Moriah didn’t always know they wanted to be photographers. Both courted the camera at different stages in life and fell in love with photography as a career in 2008. Along with their ambitions, love bloomed; the couple married in July of 2009.
In college, Moriah was an art history major whose first experience with photography came when she toured Europe with her first digital camera.
“I fell in love with art in college. I fell in love with photography when I was photographing all of the art and architecture I’d learned about while in Europe,” said Moriah.
Moriah later received her cosmetology license, a unique talent that compliments their clients’ needs on shoots.
Eric, on the other hand, was an accomplished photographer when the couple first met. His love of computers and technology led him to pursue a degree in computer engineering, which he is completing part-time.
“I’m very analytical and love to figure out how things work,” said Eric.
His persistence in learning was essential to the development of Eric & Moriah Photography when the two decided to teach themselves digital photography and editing. This was no easy feat – the company uses the finest editing software and professional labs for their final products.
As they mastered different software, Eric and Moriah used their design talents to create custom invitations and other wedding stationary materials. Their experience and creativity provides their customers with an essential service – the design and production of invitations with custom monograms and additional themed materials.
Today, Eric & Moriah Photography offer a new avenue for brides and grooms of Colorado to document their wedding experience. The website provides bridal fashion trends, recommended vendors, and planning advice in addition to Eric & Moriah Photography’s updated portfolio. The website serves as an extension of the already full-service business.
